UNP replaces Monaragala District leader

The UNP today replaced its Monaragala District leader, Ranjith Manduma Bandara by naming Attorney At law Nihal Chandrasiri ahead of the April 8 Parliamentary elections.

The replacement came following allegations that Mr. Bandara included the name of Senaka Ratnayaka in the nomination list for the elections by replacing Mr. Tissa Kuttiarachchi's name.

Mr. Chandrasiri who is currently the Bibile electorate organiser said that the party was continuing its inquiry into the action of the Mr Bandara.
