Govt. has found a 'rogue Radio' for its election activities

There are reports that Govt. M P and Minister representing the Eastern province has been provided with a Radio service without license to broadcast under name of ‘Kalkudah F.M.’ from his home. This is an absolutely illegal act.

The purpose of this illicit service is to carry out this Minister’s political campaign and activities at the upcoming Gen. elections.

Meanwhile, at Batticaloa, in like manner, Minister Vinayagamoorthy Muralidhraran (Karuna Amman) is also making arrangements to commence a Radio service without license this week, it is learnt. The necessary equipments for this service are to be taken from Colombo. This temporary Radio service to be commenced will be employed for the Govt.’s election campaign and propaganda, reports say.
