Cyclone devoloping in seas near SL, east coast could be affected - Met. Dept.

A depression that has occured in the seas 800km off the East coast could result in a cyclone that might pass through Sri Lanka in a couple of days, the Meteorogical Depatrment said.

Deputy Director of the Met.Department S. R. Jayasekara said  that it is possible that the cyclone could have some sort of effect on the eastern coastline of the country.
